Whether you are a beginning carver (like me) or more experienced, "the" expert on this stuff, Shawn Cipa has provided us a wonderful book to carve these legendary creatures of lore.

This book will provide you with expert guidance on how to carve a wizard and dragon... step by step instructions, fully illustrated with color photographs, etc. It also includes 10 patterns and reference photographs for a unicorn, phoenix, winged lion, red dragon, gryphon, sorcerer, mermaid, faerie, and more.

Shawn also included all kinds of advice on wood selection, using and adapting patterns, tools materials, painting, finishing, etc.

Again... more of this mythical stuff that I don't even pretend to understand. But you don't have to be an expert in this field to see that the author really knows his stuff. This guy is good!
